Craig Archer is in his second year with the BVNW Band Program as the Percussion Instructor.
Mr. Archer previously was a Beginning Band Director and Percussion/Drumline Instructor in Geary County Schools in Junction City, Kansas. He taught beginning band at Fort Riley Middle School and taught Drumline/Percussion at Junction City High School for two years.
He received his Bachelor of Music Education with an Instrumental Emphasis at Kansas State University.
Although percussion is his focus, Craig also enjoys playing the guitar, bass, banjo, piano, and trombone. Craig has also been giving drum lessons in the Manhattan, Kansas, area, and he is looking forward to giving lessons in the Kansas City area.
Craig's wife, Haley, will be teaching Elementary Art in the Olathe School District. They enjoy performing together, leading worship at their church, and kayaking.
