Austie Blecha

Hello everyone, my name is Austie Blecha. 

This is my first time being apart of a color guard as a staff member. I am a full time student earning a degree in education with an emphasis in English. I graduate with my associates this upcoming fall 2024 semester from Metropolitan Community College. I am also a full time assistant store manager at Bath & Body Works! While in high school, I was apart of the Kickapoo High School color guard for 4 years in Springfield, MO. I also made it through the audition process for the Carolina Crown drum corps in 2020 but unfortunately did not get to participate due to Covid-19. 

After I graduated in 2020 from Kickapoo, my fiancée and I moved to KC to start fresh! I fully believe that being apart of the color guard and marching band team gives great leadership opportunities and provides lifelong skills such as timeliness, working as part of a team, and growing confidence! 

I am so excited to join the BVNW team for the 2024 marching season and can’t wait to see what we accomplish this year!
