Andy Morgan
Percussion Instructor
Andy is an Alumnus of BVNW, and has been working with percussionists of all backgrounds since his graduation in 2013. He has been working with the BVNW band program since 2018, and is going into his 6th year with us.
Prior to being a member of the Howlin' Husky Band Staff, he was the Director of Handbell Choirs for Lenexa United Methodist Church from 2013-2015. There, he lead ensembles with musicians from ages 4 to 94!
Andy also marched as a bass drummer in Legends Drum and Bugle Corps during their bronze medal season in the Summer of 2016.
At home, Andy uses his professional training as a bread baker to bake lots of tasty treats for his family. Andy's husband, Maurice, is a student of Computer Science and Engineering at KU and, together, they have 2 adopted stray cats.
